Perfect with one simple user modification.
Works perfectly as intended with one caveat: If you have a nice bike with a nice paint job, and we all do; you need to add something to this set up. Before you mount your bike into your Thule rack using the Thule no sway cage, get yourself a 6"-8" section of black foam piping insulation from a local hardware or big box store. Place the foam insulation around your bike's seat post and then clamp down the No-sway cage onto your bike. You will thank me later because as it is currently designed, the No-sway cage can put some nice scratches on your bike's paint. Other than that, these work like a charm and your bikes ride snug without banging back and forth.

Will Scratch a Bike. Needs Cushion.
Will scratch a bike. Missing from a Design stand point Rubber Cushion. I expected more from Thule and their inflated prices. I don't have patience to modify a product with Velcro Cushion pads

A must have!
I purchased a Allen Deluxe 3-Bike Hitch Mount Rack and read reviews that bikes swayed. So I did some research and found this item of which I gambled it would work. And YES it does. Works perfectly with a little tweaking and I VERY much recommend getting this combo.Note: I read that is product can scratch the bike frames so I put a small rag between the bracket and bike frame of which works too.One caveat, was the manufacturer forgot to ship both straps. Amazon was more than accommodating with options to rectify the situation.

Works Great Until you see the Paint Chipped off your Bike!
The Thule No-Sway Cage does a great job holding my bike in place. I would have given it a 5 out of 5 stars but it chipped the paint off my bike! Like the guy said in an earlier review...I wish I would have known it did this because it could have easily been avoided. I put an insulated foam pipe on the bar below the seat and it works great...no paint chipping! This really upset me because I paid a lot of money for my mountain bike and the manufacturer of my bike does not sell touch up paint! Also, I called Thule and they are aware of this problem. They said the No-Sway Cage does not chip the paint off all bikes, just some! Thank you Thule for selling a product that does this. Again, this product works great and holds your bike in place....just make sure you put that insulated foam pipe on it. Also, make sure you take the No-Sway Cage off when you are riding and keep it in your car...it can easily be stolen if left on the bike rack.

Works much better than expected
I had a problem with the front of my mountain bike coming out of the cradle with my 937 rack. I figured it couldn't hurt to buy one of these. If you follow the directions exactly and make sure the part is firm then it works like it's suppose to. The front of my bike quit moving around.I've got a hard tail so it works. The part is designed to ride up against the seat tube right where it meets the top tube so if you have a full suspension bike this may or may not work for you depending on the rear suspension design.

They don't fit
I purchased these cages for my Thule Hitching post rack. The cages do not fit around the arms of the hitching post. I went to Wal-mart and bought and assortment of bungee cords for less than $10. I have a no sway solution and extra security for the bikes above the built in rubber straps.

Worth the extra money
I was skeptical. How effective could these actually be? But for the price I figured "why not give them a try?"Worth the extra $20 or so. Although there was little to no sway with the Thule rack in the first place (I love my Thule rack - the 912), these keep the bikes extra firm and in their place when you're on backroads. But, I think most importantly, these cages keep the bikes from banging into each other and causing unnecessary frame dings.Cons:A little bit of a hassle to put on and take off - maybe 5 minutes extra to secure two bikes. Also, you have to throw them in your car rather than leave them on the rack - too easy to steal so why risk it.I like them - I recommend as long as they're less than $20.

Will rub your bikes paint, but works.
While these replacement parts are exactly what I was needing, the hard plastic wore a hole in the paint of the down tube on my new $1200 Trek. Not happy. There is no warning about this from the manufacturer who should know this is going to happen. For a dollar or two more they could supply some sort of soft material to buffer the hard plastic from rubbing the bike constantly. After I realized what was happening at a fuel stop, I sacrificed a spare inner tube and used a section of that soft rubber to cushion the tube. Come on Thule, you could have done better than this. Still, it did exactly what it was designed to do. It kept the bikes from swaying recklessly and causing other damages.
