Amazing quality
I bought this bag to use in my teaching career. It holds all my papers to grade, a binder, my laptop, cord and wireless mouse. There is still room to spare. The bag is made of thick durable leather and will last a long time. Very stylish looking as well.

Great briefcase. I have been very happy with it.
The zippers are sturdy, overall, it has good volume inside, and quite a few spare pockets and dividers. It's appearance suggests a durable, well made leather product, which is exactly what it seems to be. There are no blemishes or failures on mine after 4 months of daily abuse. Mine weighs about 30 pounds (14 Kg) when filled with all my paperwork, computer, and other "stuff", which includes some rubber stamps, a pocket breathalyzer, a spare mouse, paper openers, an electronics organizer box, business cards, pens, and almost any other office item you might transport. I even have a tiny stapler. Sometimes a small bottle of ink for my fountain pens, too.The computer section has a bit thicker padding, and a Velcro/elastic strap to keep it in place. The big "snapped" pocket I'm not too crazy about, as the snaps don't engage too well if you stuff the pocket full of items. The closure flap doesn't expand to match the expanding pocket, which does hold a lot of stuff. Otherwise, that feature works very nicely, providing you don't carry all the junk I do.There are no signs that the handles or strap will ever fail, either.

Great bag so far, especially the size
I ordered a couple of different briefcases from Amazon, including one from this same supplier, but returned them because they were too small for my needs. I keep a lot of stuff in my bag - laptop, chargers, mouse, files, pens, pencils, business cards, and a variety of other random items. This bag was my last shot. When I first got it, I considered returning it due to the lack of INTERNAL zippered pockets (there are none), as I like having those in my briefcase to store important items like keys, thumb drives, etc. This bag does have several EXTERNAL zippered pockets, but all of the internal pockets (other than the large velcro-enclosed semi-padded laptop pocket) are mesh pockets with an open top, so if you turned the bag upside down, stuff in those pockets would likely fall out into the main compartment. Notwithstanding the lack of internal zippered pockets, I decided to keep the bag and give it a try. So far, I've been very happy with it. The size is great - it's definitely large enough to hold everything I need. The bag has some heft to it, which I like, and makes sense given the size of the bag and amount of leather involved, but I don't find it unwieldy or too heavy at all. The quality of the leather seems good so far; it was pretty stiff when the bag was new, but seems to be softening with time. The bag smells of new leather, but I like that smell and it's also dissipating over time. The zippers are not the smoothest in the world, but work fine. My suggestion to the supplier would be to include more INTERNAL zippered/full enclosed cloth pockets (not mesh) in the next release. One more recommendation - to future purchasers - that I got from another reviewer: give the bag an extensive wipe down with a rag prior to use. The one complaint I had seen about this bag was that users were getting dye on their clothing from the bag and I was concerned about that. That said, when I wiped it down with a white rag, there was no transfer of dye to the rag and I have not gotten any dye on my clothing, so maybe it was just a few random bags or a bad lot that had the issue. Nonetheless, I'd recommend doing the wipe down, as it's better to be safe than sorry. Time will tell to see how long the bag holds up, as my previous leather briefcases have all lasted for several years before needing to be repaired or replaced, but so far so good. The bag is definitely a very good value for the price, especially compared to most other leather briefcases that are on the market.

This Briefcase Will Last a Lifetime
Ok. Let’s start off with a little honesty. This is not really a briefcase. It’s a giant Mee-Maw purse for men. Even so you can still look plenty badass carrying it despite the fact it is packed with tissues, chewing gum, nail clippers, medicine bottles and old lottery tickets, and it will still safely hold your laptop and wireless mouse. The organization is pretty decent but not perfect. It has a compartment with a magnetically secured flap on the side. It has nice pockets for pens, knives, magnifying glasses, and a few basic hand tools. This would be where you will want to store that leatherman multi tool that you always thought you might use. There are two very well made zippers on top that work with almost no fuss. They are massive, and I doubt they will ever pull apart even if you abuse them. If they do ever get a little sticky, I would put a tiny drop, maybe two, of light machine oil on the zipper pull to lubricate it.Inside the zippered compartments there are panels sewn in to separate the contents. This is where you would put your briefs. Not your tighty whities, I’m talking about the legal papers. Just read “The Pelican Brief” if you do not understand. If reading is not your thing, watch “My Cousin Vinny.” You will not learn what a brief is, but it’s a funny movie, and even though there is no nudity, Marissa Tomei is still super hot. Enjoy. The exterior is wonderful, full-grain saddle leather. I was very pleased with the quality of the leather and the construction. It’s still in the super stiff category when it arrives new, and it has the lovely aroma of a saddle store or a B&D boutique. There are two substantial leather handles on top. The briefcase arrives in a tight package that causes the handles to be “trained” to fall toward the center. This is a good thing. Over time, due to the way they are sewn and the way they are shipped, they will stay either upright or toward the center where they are easy to grab rather than flopping flaccidly to the sides. There is a lovely, stout, over-the-shoulder leather strap with high quality brass hardware. The hardware allows the ends of the straps to spin so that no matter which side of the strap you grab, it can be untwisted or reoriented in an instant. The strap can be quickly and easily removed, but don’t be a douche. Use the strap.Other reviews complained about odors, oily surfaces, dye rubbing off on clothes and bags misshapen from shipping. I experienced none of these problems. The leather was supple and beautiful, and as noted before, it smelled so good! My only regret is the lovely aroma completely dissipated in about two days.I’ve had the briefcase for a month or two now. I travel extensively for work, and it’s performed well beyond my expectations. It is rugged, but it’s design is timeless and classy. It would be appropriate whether you are wearing a great suit into a boardroom or a hard hat and work boots onto a job site.If I had a complaint it would be that some of the partitions/dividers in the main compartments are not sewn together at the bottom so you have to be kind of careful where you put small items. Otherwise they will drop into the abyss below the dividers, and you will be forced to dig around for them. Otherwise, this bag is SUCH a good value. I’m looking forward to it softening and scuffing and developing its own unique character as it accompanies me on my travels. I’ll probably dump it out once a year or so to clean it with saddle soap and to apply a good leather conditioner. That’s really all it should ever need. I believe this bag, with proper care and perhaps the attention of a leather repair shop every twenty or thirty years should last a lifetime or perhaps generations. Thank you to the craftsmen who produced mine. It has already become one of my favorite possessions.

Was worth the price and then some
I was sceptical going from what I was used to and going to this. So far I am very pleased, in not a big zipper fan and this the only things that concerns me for longevity but other than that concern is a nice bag, really like it.
