EK tools Edge Dotted Scallop Punch, New Package

Very nice punch. Small item but good. The wave cutouts are nice, simple and a nice shape. The punch itself is clearly marked to line up paper to make a continuous strip.

I've been looking for a chevron punch, finally purchased this one, have tons of EK/MS punches, so I knew what to expect as to ease of use, etc. My punch has worked easily, cleanly and my punched strips look great. I do wish it was a bit larger, but when I layer several together-- either the same or different colors, they make a very nice design impact. It also came in handy when adding color lines to my Easter cards eggs, it's small enough for a couple per egg or large enough for a single line if you prefer. Pretty happy with my new punch. :)

Cuts cleanly and the results are beautiful!

I have been using this for scrapbooking for about 3 months now. It still works great and is easy to use. I've dropped it several times and nothing broke. The pattern is delicate so using glue tape is a must.

The wave paper punch works great! I love the beachy design! I like the locking mechanism that none of my other paper punches have. The one thing I do not like, which is the reason this product did not get 5 stars, is that there is no "scrap catcher" on the bottom of the punch. Whenever I use the punch, I have to put a piece of paper underneath my project to catch all the scraps otherwise I have a mess to clean up. I don't think adding a little plastic catcher to the punch would have added much more cost to the production price, but it would have definitely made the punch a lot better for me. Would recommend for the cute design.

EK Tools seems to make some of the best paper punches around. I'm really impressed with the way this edge punch works. It's really a nice looking embellishment on random pages of a DIY junk journal, or even for embellishing random pages of a store-bought journal. I know already that this will be one of my favorite punches to use in my projects.

EK Tools Binding Edge punch # 54-40109. Bought it to install pages into a water color book. Holes did not align, they were too small (post card image). Really no room to modify. Previously used (borrowed) a two hole rolodex punch that worked great, was looking for something similar. I put in an image of a ruler so others can judge for future purchases.The punch has a hard time with card stock. It punched through but really had to put muscle/weight on it. You have to clear the bottom of cut fronds after each cut or else it becomes entangled in the next cut.Returned. was wrong size and had no use for it.Ratings:Easy to use- need to push hard for card stock. need of clearing cuttings after each punch.Sturdiness- Limit on thickness of paperValue for money- If it was the correct size I would have kept it.
