Ordered these glow sticks for my son’s glow party at school and they were a huge hit. Such vibrant colors and fun for the kids the size of each sick and the amount for the price were so much fun. They were durable and lasted for the whole day. Such a great find for the price.

When I ordered these, I thought I was getting glow sticks and necklaces. I did not. I got glow sticks and "string". Read the description carefully. It says: " Glow Sticks in Bright Assorted Colors & 50 Necklace Strings...". I shouda... At least there was no greasy residue on them as in some reviews. The first attempt in shipping was unsuccessful. It took almost a month but, I did receive my order. The next time we lose power we will see if these are as useful but safer than candles. Modified after losing power: Just spent three days without electricity here in Maine. The orange-colored glow sticks are not as bright as the blue or yellow, but they all worked better than candles. I realized that something in the candles burning all night was bothering me, probably hydrocarbons of some kind, so I decided to try the glow sticks. No flame, no batteries! The hooks on one end aid in hanging them on pull chains of overhead lights or anything else. They can go into your pocket without worry. They are obviously not as bright as a flashlight but they will get you around a dark room in safety. One glow stick leaked a bit, so I had a starry floor for a short time. The spill wiped right up with a paper towel. So, I accomplished what I set out to do. I found a non-flammable method of finding a way in the dark when the lights go out. And I have changed my rating of this product to reflect my happiness with glow sticks.

The green and yellow work really well, but the other colors take a long time to "activate" and when they do the glow is still a little dull. Value for the money is good, you do get a lot of them. Size was nice there are bigger than the other ones we usually use. It is fun to give them to the kids and let them fun around.

I buy these for Halloween Hand Outs along with Candy. Kids love ,them and so do the parents.
