Does it come with weavilz?

Been eating these for over 40 years and no weevils. Think I should complain? Have I not been getting what I paid for?

Not sure, but what I do know is they aren't packaged well for longevity. Put them in a mylar bag with oxygen absorbers and seal the bag and you can easily double shelf life.

Is this standard flour/water/salt hardtack?

No. It has palm oil and other additives. It probably will not have nearly the shelf life of traditional hardtack. I researched this a bit and my best guess, based on my reading, is that it probably has a shelf life of a few years, no more than ten years. There is some disagreement of long oils like palm oil or those in whole grains will remain stable. White flour, white sugar, salt and water hardtack lasts almost indefinitely. When oils and other ingredients are added the result is much less stable. It think a list of the ingredients is available either in the description or by enlarging some of the photos.
