Really good quality!
The backup camera arrived on time and with everything you need. I purchased this camera somewhere back in October of 2019. At the time when I installed it, it did not show up on my head unit. I did not return it since it was my first time installing one and I figured I might have messed up somewhere. A week later I double-checked over my work and found that I installed everything correctly, it's just the T-Tap they provided did not connect the camera wire to my reverse light wire completely because the camera wire was really thin and the metal plate in the T-Tap did not tap into it. That was an easy fix which was to use traditional crimp connectors and bam, the reverse camera showed up on my Kenwood unit as soon as I put the car into reverse. I installed the camera on my 2005 Honda CR-V and the 1997-2006 CR-V's have the spare tire mounted on the door. Because of this, I mounted the camera as close to the center as possible without being too low as the main reason I wanted the camera was to see my bumper and make hooking up the trailer a lot easier. It sits on my bumper instead of hanging from the top of the license plate. If you do install it like this (Most people install like this on trucks) MAKE SURE TO CUT THE PURPLE WIRE!! Doing this will prevent the upside-down image as this camera is default a hanging from the top of license plate design. Overall it's worth the price, sure it may be a little more pricey than those $10 screw onto license plate ones but the picture quality on those are so grainy and look like sh*t at night. This camera gives you the option of putting it wherever and looks OEM. The picture quality itself looks like it would be from an OEM 2020 vehicle with a standard reverse cam and night quality is outstanding! Give this camera a shot, you won't regret it, I'm still using this camera as of June 2020 and the picture still looks as new as when I got it first installed and thats after all the rain I've also driven through with it.

Great back up/front camera
Great camera especially compared to some others I’ve gotten on here. Clear, wide view and also pretty good at night.

Great, but test before installing
I bought this camera to update my car with a new android head unit I bought. The setup is straight forward if you know your car and how to install the camera. I installed it in a Mazda 3 2006 in one of the rear holes near the back licence plate light. The cable ran through a drain plug to the trunk and ran to the head unit through the door sill plastic trims that are easy to remove and put back. My head unit came with a canbus that automates the trigger for the reverse camera video so the trigger wire that came with the camera was not needed in my case. The quality of the camera is good, however I received a defective unit the first time around. Under the warranty they replaced the defective unit and I am happy that they did that, however it was a pain having to uninstall and then reinstall the new unit. I am satisfied with the performance of the camera, its picture quality was clear. I have the camera offset a little bit so I might remove the guide lines. The Removable guides feature, I think is good, however you disable the guides by cutting a wire located near the camera. I re-enacting the guidelines for the future would require re uniting the wires, which I think this functionality could be made easier by having a connector of some sort. It also has support for reversing the image. The pictures I took were during the day, but I will update my review for a night time capture as well. The box came with an instruction pamphlet, an orange trim piece pry bar, electrical wiring tape, several blue wire clamps, zip ties, some rubber washers for leveling the camera, the camera itself, and a Flange Serrated Nut.

Delivered on quality and clarity
I needed to bring my dad’s 2006 Toyota 4Runner into the 2019 so I opted to add a Sony XAVAX1000 CarPlay enabled head unit, steering wheel control adapter, and this NATIKA IP69K. This set up works amazingly well. Let me explain my experience with back up cameras and tell you about this one. My family’s first back up camera came with our 2012 Odyssey. I was impressed with the clarity and the overall performance of it. Our other back up camera is in a Lexus LS460, and that one was just nuts with how clear it can be. It was like a real camera was used. From there I have had several rentals and loaner cars and even though they were newer cars the quality was so bad. The video quality looked like watching something recorded from the 80’s. I am not sure if it was a camera issue, screen issue or something else but they were quite bad overall. Fast forward to now and I wanted to get my dad a quality camera so it would actually help him. I picked this based on the reviews particularly about the build quality. I liked that it had multiple colors of housing, I also liked how they included different padding to adjust the angle. One thing I debated was buying this model or doing one of the cameras built into the light models. After looking for a while I decided this model was so small and so pleasing to see (meaning you don’t even notice it) that I skipped the two in one unit. I took the items to BestBuy to be installed. The first thing I did was ask the installer to look at the camera and test it out. He told me it worked great, and he was really impressed with the build quality. He said the grade of cables used, how they fed in and out of the camera, and the all the packing, extra parts and instructions were very top notch. He said sometimes he gets cameras where it is just the camera and instructions in Chinese, and this was not how NATIKA did theirs. I am not sure what setting he used for it. I think online it says it has multiple ones. I asked him for the most basic/normal view for my dad with grid lines. That is exactly what I got Overall, the camera is awesome. It is so clear in combination with the Sony head unit I bought. I recommend this to anyone who needs a backup camera for their car. You don’t have to get one of those ugly huge ones that bolt on to the license plate. This one is quite incognito and looks OEM. Are there cheaper camera out there? Maybe. However this one is pretty affordable and has delivered for me and countless other people.

I like it
So I looked around and ended up buying this one. It was worth the price. Bought this was a 2014 Hyundai Sonata My pictures show my lathing of the yellow vid aux to the trunk. I went via the bottom of the car as it was easier and I didn't want to take off airbag panels. But removing the lower panels is incredibly easy, though you will need to remove the back seat (YouTube on how to do so for your car if you actually need to), and just followed the wiring, zip tying as I went along. I cut a hole into that wire socket after taking off the back seat and pushed it through. Then removed the panels on the trunk, back up lights, the trim, etc (YouTube is your friend), drilled a hole into the plate light panel and snaked the camera power lead to the one from the front of the car. Picture quality could be better, I don't have an issue with 720p and actually think it's fine for most eyes (you don't need to see the pores of people in the car behind you). BUT it could be clearer, think though that the night vision might actually be messing with the lighting during the day and that's why. So the wires that come with the camera, you know the ones, the white purple and green ones. People looking and reviews and answers people aren't really clear, thinking that little info will go a long way. It doesnt and people need to learn to actually say what they do, so I'll clear that up below. Green: the back up guide lines you see telling you how close to something you are(blue, yellow, red) cut this if you don't want those. Purple: horizontal or vertical viewing. Leave kf you want horizontal, cut if you want vertical. If you have a sedan or your trunk lifts up, leave it be. Anything else, like a truck that has a latch or the trunk flips open like a door, cut it. White: flips the image. So basically this is a preference. If you leave it alone, looking at the screen in your car when in reverse. It will be like if you were looking straight ahead. Right will be right left will be left. If you cut it, right will be left, left will be right on the screen. I left it as it cause it's easier. The angle(170°) is actually really nice and let's you see pretty much everything, which I like. The video I placed was at sunset, and you can see the quality is pretty good. Nothing earth shattering but it'll do it's job. I'd like to see how this hold up as people say it dies in a could of months. Though I'll see how it goes and probably just buy one for a bit more money if that happens. But so far I really like it. Will update in like 5 months

Nice wide angle view
I purchased this to replace the camera that came with my Eonon Android stereo receiver. The original camera would hang down below my license plate and made me worried I'd get pulled over and given a citation. This new NATIKA camera is far more low profile, but most important is much more functional as the lens provides a good, wide angle 720P image. This works perfectly with my Android stereo receiver but I did need to change the signal type to NTSC for it would show up (in reverse gear, just touch hold the screen and you'll be able to update the signal type options.) This was more difficult to install than the original bundled camera I had because of the mounting mechanism and limited working space, but that same mounting mechanism is far superior in terms of mechanical strength. The prying tool that comes with this is really good. I also liked how the connectors were designed such that I could keep all the electrical connections waterproofed as they're inside my vehicle instead of concealed in the bumper. Everything about this camera is good, its a good value purchase and I would recommend this over any bundled cameras that came with your Android stereo receiver unit. See images for image angle comparison between my original backup camera and this new NATIKA backup camera -- truly a night and day difference -- I feel much safer with this camera.

Between good enough and not too shabby
Just installed. The wiring was straightforward. Running the cabling wasn't too difficult. I wish the wire in the camera side was like just a foot longer. Image quality is okay. It's good for what it is, being a back up camera. Get bright reverse lights and it's better at night. My only real issue is that it takes like 5-10 seconds to activate once i put my car in reverse. I wish it were more like a 2 second delay. So that's kinda annoying. I also wish the power and the trigger were separate wires so it could always be active and i could look through it even when not in reverse. I'd give it like a 6.5-7/10

Great camera for price and Excellent customer service
Added this camera to a 2017 Toyota Tundra when I upgraded the HU. For the price I think it is a great value and I have been very happy with it. Originally installed November 2023. Few months later we had a terrible ice storm and the camera froze. I reached out to Natika via email and they quickly replaced the camera no questions asked and it has been smooth sailing ever since, no issues and working great. I like that you can choose forward/rear facing (adjusting the image) and can remove the parking lines if you want. I did but wish now that I had kept them I think. It was pretty easy to install. The camera design offers some versatility on placement. I mounted it below my grille with the provided hardware and took some time routing the wiring safely. The image is clear enough for its purpose and at the price I am very happy with my purchase. Gives me a little more confidence when parking and greater visibility when pulling out of parking lots.
