Basic knowledge that seems to escape the younger generation since they have not been exposed to quite a bit. It provides a good basis and what to do in certain situations I would recommend as far as a teen becoming a young adult a necessity

I purchased this as a birthday gift on the side for my 18 year old son. While he wasn't overly impressed...I was! I believe he will come to appreciate all the different topics/solutions in this book. While some of them are silly...there is a lot of good information in there!

A must have Manhood Bible. This book is easy to read with short sections that get to the point. My two boys, ages 10 and 12, find it easy to read. Of course they don't think they need to read it so I have read some of the topics to them that pertain to their age. It's very well written. Yes, there is some very basic stuff, and hopefully if you've been taught well as a young man, most of the topics covered will not be that helpful to a grown man. However, I have a 29 year old nephew who would benefit greatly to read this book. Some topics like; dating, credit cards, changing a tire, don't pertain to my boys right now, but this is a good resource to have around for them to grow up with. I have to admit, there were a couple of topics that helped me out, and a number of refresher topics. I shared it with my brother-in-law who has a 10 year old son and he went out and bought one for him. I think this is a good book for all families to have. Even thought its geared for young men some of the topics are suitable for young women (they probably have their own book though).

Great book overall but definitely more for younger men. I'll admit I'm 24 and bought this for myself as I didn't have a father growing up to teach me these things. I was able to find some things useful such as the labor and cooking skills toward the end, but the beginning stuff like talking to girls for the first time and how to apply deodorant (lol) I've already done much of haha. I did notice one part about cooking up chicken that wasn't clear enough, where it tells you to carve a whole chicken after it's finished cooking. It doesn't tell you how to, which I honestly don't know how, so I'd have to google that. But otherwise it really is a useful book, maybe not a go-to but a read-once guide, something that would make a good stocking stuffer for the little brother lol. Enjoy!!

Bought for my friends sons 18th birthday. I glanced over it and it seemed well written with good information. Now just get a kid to read a book! Haha

I’ve taken advantage of a 97% discount for this one (less than a dollar), otherwise I’d be really really pissed of having bought it. I know there are people out there who need this simple list of instructions on different matters but I expected it to add something or maybe be more detailed and graphical. As I mentioned, there are certainly better material out there to “teach” those things to guys if not their fathers.

I bought this for my 16 year old son - sorry Father Christmas did! It's great and fun. Easy and simple to use and he's cooked from it and got a girlfriend - but not sure if that was due to the book - maybe washing helped!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. So he’s yet to read it, but my coworkers and I went through the book one day (as well as surviving middle school) and we had quite a laugh and might even have learnt a thing or two. It will be a great resource for my almost teenage boy and even has a few things I will need as a single mom (changing a tire etc). Very well written, it’s an easy read, it covers the basics and then some. Would recommend this and have actually to several coworkers and friends.
