They are not flimsy at all. Durable, and they are suitable for classroom use and home study.

How many sheets of paper fit in one pocket?

You can fit several . I have 10 pages in mine.

How about the dry erase pockets water proof/resistant?

They don’t close completely so if water got inside it would damage the paper but the cover is water resistant.
