Accessing the new three output modes is done by the easy twist switch. The broad beam lens produces a soft, even beam for close-up illumination. The E05 features a digitally regulated output, which in turn maintains constant brightness.   Power Powering the E05 is easy  powered by an inexpensive AAA battery. You can use a primary Alkaline battery or go the rechargeable route and use a NiMh battery to get more bang for your buck. This little flash light is great.Small and light enough to fit on my key chain and not be bulkyThe default low setting is perfect for normal use, however a couple of quick twists and the high setting is as bright as my friend's Petzl head torch!High quality constructionVery happy with my purchase, worth the money especially when you consider the 2 year warranty.

i have been using for 9 months now and it has not given any problems .. good quality , tough. dropped it many times..only con is the key chain hole could have been larger..brightest mode is very excellent though it does get a bit warm..kicks butt of many cheap chinese torchs..

nice and compact, almost like having a AAA size battery on your key ring.Just about 2.7 inches in length.Yes, for all those who are asking, this is the newer version of the light. it is 85 lumens at full brightness.It will tail stand so can be used as a candle also.Twist to operate the light.Turns on in the lowest setting, then twist it again for the medium setting and one more time for the max setting.Comes with a AAA battery in the pack, so it can be used immediately without having to shop for one.its not going to get ruined upto a depth of 2 meters under water i believe. ( basically water proof)it's amazing how flash lights have evolved over the years.Go for it, you will love it.. it's such a beauty and will get the job done..... best urban carry device.
