Better than the German hex keys
I have had my first set of Bondhus drivers for a bit over two years now. The metal is both harder than every screws I have used with, while flexible enough to never break under high torque. I bought the expensive German stuff, which broke under a lot of torque. Somehow the Bondhus is cheaper while being better. This Bondhus set looks cheap and comes in the lightest packaging. But don't let that fool you. This is because everything went into the function, not the look. The handles have plenty of grip even with greasy hands. Again, the metal is both harder than the screws, and doesn't break under extreme torque. My only complaint is that the lettering rubs off easily, I wish they had the size engraved, or printed somewhere that is less prone to be erased. But at this price point and quality, I can fix this in a minute with a permanent marker.

Bondhus Can't Be Beat
These are great drivers. I've known about Bondhus quality for over 40 years from back in my RC Airplane days. Nowadays im into 3D printing flight sim peripherals and these drivers get a LOT of use. Whenever im tightening or loosening small metric screws I immediately reach for these. I need to order the American (SAE sizes I guess) for non metric screws

Good Drivers - Great Customer Service!
I found out about this brand by watching Adam Savage on YouTube. He has multiple sets of the T handle allen wrenches and absolutely loves them. I figured if these are good enough for a top level pro builder the should work for me. I looked them up and was shocked by the price. They are actually affordable. I bought this set and as soon as they showed up I put them to work. These drivers are so nice. I always stripped out the allen head screws and blamed it on being cheap screws. Apparently the issue is cheap drivers. I was cautious at first tightening the screws. No stripping. Then I gave them the full grunt test. Still no stripping. I even used the the smallest driver and it worked flawlessly. Don't look at other brands. Buy these and be confident you have the best! UPDATE: After a couple of months of use my 2.5mm driver started slipping. I emailed Bondhus' Customer Service with the issue. Sue contacted me the same day and asked for pictures of the driver and my address, which I gladly sent. I opened my mailbox 5 days later and there was my new driver. Unbelievable! That's what American made and American service gets you. Bondhus is my go to tool provider from now on.

They feel good and do the job but
Overall these are nice little hex drivers. They have a nice grippy handle and they do the job but I knocked off one star because the printed sizes on the handles wears off really quickly and then you can’t read what size you’re grabbing.

Used these in a shop every day for years
We use these every day at work. The China ones round out in a week. These are still in great shape after 2 1/2 years. If you are looking for good tools, I highly recommend them. I only wish they also made sets with longer and shorter stems for hard-to-reach areas.

Perfect for Guitar work.
Using and allen key on a guitar truss rod is a pain. These made it so Much easier. And the size options helped with lowering the floyd rose tremolo, changing strings, locking nut, etc... I may not need all the sizes at the moment, but buying individual drivers made no sense. They seem strong and feel good in your hands making my job easier. For my application, I see these tools lasting a LONG Time. I recommended them to a freind.

Bondhus undoubtedly makes the best steel for Hex and Star tools.
I've been using Bondhus tools for about 12 years, and I have used them extensively on everything from RC racing to ATV's, UTV's, and other offroad machines. These tools have the absolute best steel for hex and star because they are very hard on the HRC scale (60 HRC), yet flexible like spring steel. This means they wear very hard and are not brittle, which also means they will not round out on the edges or snap because they are brittle. Furthermore, the price point is very good, especially for a tool made in the USA. For anyone that says these wear or strip out on screws, I'm sorry, but show me a video of any grade (5, 8, 10 or even higher) screw rounding the edges on this. It's just not going to happen. You might have stripped the screw because it was in bad shape, or have been using the wrong size and stripped out the screw. There is no way a screw rounded the edges on one of these. The reason is, even high grade bolts are not very high on the hardness scale, they are actually tempered quite a bit so that they can stretch ever so slightly without breaking due to being brittle. This is the same reason that you have to check the torque on the grade 8 SAE head bolts of a high performance engine after breaking it in; the bolts will stretch a little bit. The fact that Bondhus has a proprietary steel alloy that is much harder than the common tool steel used, yet is able to flex like high tempered steel makes it a very special. They claim to have the strongest and hardest hex tools out of any manufacturer in the world on their website, and I believe they are not lying about that. I went through the trouble to write this review because I strongly support tools still made in the USA, especially in this case when they are the best on the market for a very good price.
