Undershirt really works!
I am so happy with this product. I have an American bully and he can get rambunctious, especially at night time. I put the shirt on him and he was like a different dog. It immediately calmed him down and he went right to sleep. . Now when he gets rambunctious at night I tell him all right I’m putting the shirt on you. He looks at me and then walks to the couch and goes to sleep. He did this twice already, hilarious, but it really does calm my dog down. This is an unbelievable product!

10/10 Recommend!!
Great for anxious dogs. I have a 8 year old Chipoo (Prince) and a 2 year old Chiweenie (Leia) who are both very anxious in their own ways. Prince has bad separation anxiety and Leia is scared of loud noises like fireworks/thunder. They both seem to be more calm after I put on their vests. When we leave them alone I watch them through a doggie cam and Leia just sleeps and Prince lays down and watches out the window. Prince would howl and lick the window before and that has stopped now (with the vest). It also helped Leila tremendously with christmas/new years fireworks. I did also combine these vests with the Thunderease diffuser so I definitely recommend both products. Quality is good, Prince is 10.8 lbs and i got him the XS and Leia is 8.8lbs and she got the XXS. Both fit great. Prince also got the sport version so it’s different material and less stretchy than the original. The jump from XXS to XS is also a bit drastic as you can see in the photos, the sport version seems to be made for bigger breed puppies so I would say stick to the original for smaller breed dogs. I put them on pretty tight and they are still able to move/run like they normally would.

It works...I don't understand how, but it works...
I can't tell you how many people have laughed at me for buying this, but just look at these reviews and you'll see the Thundershirt works. My 14lb terrier mix has been terrified of storms since the day I brought her home from the shelter, and in AZ, we can get a monsoon storm almost every night for weeks on end. Before the thundershirt, my dog would shiver, shake, pant, hide under the bed, try to crawl under my pillow - no one was sleeping well. This is not a cure-all, she still gets nervous and upset when it storms, but it's effect is calming enough that she'll stay on the bed and sometimes even fall asleep with it on. The difference is truly amazing and such a relief. I just wish there were a few more size options; I first purchased the XS, which was a good fit across her chest but not around the belly. I gave that one to my parents and their 4lb storm-hating Yorkie (more on that later) and went up to a small. Now the fit is perfect around the stomach, but the strap around the chest is too wide and too long, especially when she's trying to lay down and sleep. That said, I would still buy another one tomorrow, no question! As for the 4lb Yorkie, she spent four years in absolute hysterics at every clap of thunder...and at that size, there were a lot of nooks and crannies she could get herself into where they were having to crate her every time it stormed so that she would be safe. The first time a storm was expected, she wore the Thundershirt at night and slept through one of Phoenix's worst storms of the year. They continued to put her in the shirt for the rest of the summer, and then one day they couldn't find it, and yet she was fine. It's been almost a year, and she has not has one episode since. I'm always a fan of buying off Amazon, but a lot of my locally-owned pet stores are now carrying the Thundershirts. They have been great in letting people try on different sizes for the best fit, and some even will offer a full refund if you try it for a few weeks and are unimpressed. When I asked last time I was there, the sales gal told me they've sold over 100 in the past few months and only two have come back. With those odds - and with everyone's reviews here - the Thundershirt is certainly worth a try for your beloved pup!

worth the money
I bought this for my older dog who lost his hearing (due to age) and would freak out with storms. The size was a little big on him but better than small. The material was great. Not to hot for him but worked great to hug him and help alleviate a large amount of anxiety with storms. It worked great for him and was a good purchase. (He is now deceased and it has been about a year when I bought this for him. Again, it was a good investment for his anxiety).

I inherited a dog that had never been left alone. I am out for a few hours every day. He howled and cried even though there were 2 other dogs with him. He was not in a crate. The thundershirt is working wonders for him. Cries very little if at all. He is just calmer. Under vet direction, I also give him 2mg of melatonin for his anxiety. These 2 things really helped him.

Thundershirt made a huge improvement to my dog's anxiety, specifically when fireworks are being set off. Combined with her safe space den, it has definitely helped her cope better during that horrible "Bonfire Night" fortnight. Sizing when ordering is a bit judgement based, its all about chest size. Fitting is a little tricky the first time until you figure it out, but is lovely and snug once closed up.

My dog is about 9 lbs. It fit her very well. It was easy to put on her and is well made.

well made and good fit for medium dog. Basenji cross cattle dog 30 lbs. Velcro at the neck and torso made it easy fit.

My Jack Russell x would get very anxious (stressed and shaking) with thunder storms, when insects were in the house, and when having to go to the vet. Before trying anti-anxiety medication suggested by one of the vets, I thought I would try the thundershirt. It’s worked brilliantly. When she gets anxious, the shirt goes on and it calms her right down. She is no longer frightened going to the vets and, instead of becoming reactive (growling and trying to bite the vet), she is now happy to go to her appointments and the vet can give her her monthly injections without any reactive behaviour. In the vets words, they are now ‘BFF’s’! Thoroughly recommend. It may depend on the dog, but it’s worth a try before having to resort to medication.
