Just the right amount of information about each paint formula so you can pick it up, choose a paint to make and go. Much more information on natural paint and many more recipes than I was able to get from a fair amount of internet searching.

Great book for those looking for ways to make your own paint!!

This book is my encyclopedia for ideas and recipes for making natural paint. It is practical and straightforward, and I quickly began trying some of the recipes.

Great Book! It showcases many natural methods for painting which can be utilized on many "canvases" such as plaster and paneling.

I was looking for a book with a stronger emphasis on creating paints for making art (i.e on canvas) but this book is still informative on making paints and veneers for houses.

very comprehensive book for anyone wanting to try painting without lead paints. great how-to and sources. I am enjoying it very much. a good reference for wood carvers.

This book contains minimal information on anything about making natural paint. The title, the images on the cover and the book overview lead you to believe that this would be a good resource to make paint from natural products. But nay, nay. There are 3 pages about making paints and these pages are so general I still have no idea where to start to find materials to make paints. There are several chapters about painting techniques for painting walls, which I found amazing since that has nothing to do with the title.

This book has some great ideas and recipes for natural, non-toxic paint, made with materials you either have around the house, or are easy to find. Also includes instructions for decorative application techniques. Unfortunately, few of the paints are scrubbable... which is what I was looking for in the kitchen area. But I see myself using some of the recipes in other rooms in my eco-friendly house.

This book will help anyone interested in natural paints. Its preparation and application.Thanks for the timely delivery.
