I've used a benzoyl peroxide cream before, so I was able to go straight to using this one almost every night. My adult acne isn't large but it is persistent and goes down to my chest and shoulders. This cream actually worked. It took about a week to start seeing any difference, and two to get completely past my skin purging (which was to be expected). It does irritate my decolletage area if I use it too often, so I cut that down to two or three times a week. Not too drying, but if you have combination skin you want to be doubly sure to moisturize in the mornings. The smell isn't bad (smells mostly like the tea tree oil) but it's noticeable. And since it's got benzoyl peroxide, it does run the risk of bleaching out dark colors, so be aware of that.Overall, completely worth the money. My skin looks better than it has in years!

I am very much liking this product. The back story here is that I've always had acne and I'm in my 40's now, and it had pretty much cleared up with using Proactiv but I was tired of paying their prices and being forced to buy a 3-step program from which I only used 1 of the steps. I switched to a cloth that was doing the trick for me, and then I added a probiotic a few months later. The probiotic did terrible things for my face, so I stopped taking it and when the acne wasn't clearing up, I looked for something else to try so I didn't have to buy Proactiv again. That's when I found this. I've used it less than a week and my face is like 85% cleared up already. This product is amazing. You barely need to use any. I have so far just used it once a day, always at night, and then I use a moisturizer on my face to keep it from getting too dry. It smells mostly like tea tree oil but it's very subtle, especially after you get it rubbed in. I have had no reactions, and my skin is not drying out at all. I highly recommend this product!

I was only able to use this product for a week before I developed a rather unfortunate reaction to it that caused my whole chest and neck area to break out in hives and a rash. The week I used it normally though, it seemed like it really was starting to clear up my very persistent body acne. The smell was pleasant and dissipated quickly.I contacted the manufacturer about the rash, and they issued me a refund, no need to return the product which I definitely appreciate.Overall I’m sure thus product works fairly well, so long as your skin tolerates it.

The formula has changed because this product used to be 2.5% benzoyl peroxide but is now salicylic acid. Bring back the BP please!

I was looking for a product with benzoyl peroxide which was stronger than the 2% variety yet less harsh than the 10% spot creams -- this fit the bill. I wouldn't say it's super moisturizing, but it doesn't leave you feeling dry or tight either, so it strikes a nice balance. As a fairly thick cream, it's one of those formulas than tends to dry/absorb fairly quickly as you are applying it (or at least it does in the dry climate in which I live). Therefore what I like to do is first apply a little aloe vera (the liquidy variety), mixed with a few drops of my facial serum, then I quickly apply the cream while my face is still slightly moist. This allows me to spread the product more thoroughly, spend a little time massaging it all in, and I'm also able to use less of the cream because a little dab goes a long way when mixed with the moisture from the other products.By the way, if anyone is interested, the serum I use is called Eva Naturals Skin Clearing Serum. I cannot recommend it enough! I'm in no way affiliated with the product, but when I find something that works I like to pass on the tip. You can find it here on Amazon and it's quite affordable (about $14). It contains tons of acne-fighting and anti-aging ingredients. I've been using it for the past 6 months or more and it's made a huge difference in my skin! Great for people like me who are beginning to be concerned about anti-aging (I'm 37), but also still struggle with oily and blemish prone skin. I think it pairs nicely with this acne cream.Anyway, back to the cream...I enjoy the scent of this because it has that fresh tea tree oil fragrance without being overpowering. You also get a decent amount (2 oz jar) and considering the tiny dab needed for each application, it should last quite a long time. I haven't noticed any irritation or extreme drying, although I don't have terribly sensitive skin when it comes to most products. It does keep breakouts at bay and it's more gentle and soothing than the 10% benzoyl peroxide formulations. All-in-all I really like this cream and it definitely does as advertised. If you're on the fence I'd recommend giving it a whirl!

I use to buy this religiously. Then one day it was out of stock indefinitely. When I realized they put the listing back up I bought it right away. Unfortunately they changed the formula. In the past the main active ingredient was Tee Tree Oil and it was worked wonders for my back acne. Now the main ingredient is Witch Hazel and I might as well be spraying slightly sticky water on my back. Very dissatisfied but if the old formula ever came back so would I.

I have back acne and more recently butt acne at almost 60 years old😱I bought this product last year and it really helped clear up both, living alone, it is a fantastic way to reach out of the way areas of my body. I've also sprayed it into my hands and rubbed it on my face, it works wonders in relieving red inflamed areas of my cheeks and calm down redness. You can buy this unique product with confidence, if it works for this hairy old man, it can work for most other folks 👍😎
