Good but barely edited
I'm enjoying this as I've enjoyed other Jim Marrs books. My only issue is the unbelievable amount of misspellings and grammatical errors. There's even entire sentences that repeat verbatim on the same page. It's a bit distracting. The content, though, seems on point.

The next step to 1984
In the last six months my view of our government has changed drastically. I have often felt governmental decisions were misguided, sometimes corrupt, but not treasonous. I no longer feel that way.I grew up in the sixties. In fact I lived less than a mile from E. Howard Hunt and within a mile of LBJ and Nixon when they were VP's and George H.W. Bush when he was head of the CIA.Recently, I started reading some of the new books on the JFK assassination. I never felt Oswald acted alone and was always suspicious about how quickly he was named as the assassin. I always believed that the throat wound came from the front and thought the single bullet theory was stupid. I had read some of the work by Jim Garrison, but the cast of characters seemed unbelieveable. Then I read that E. Howard Hunt was associated with the Bay of Pigs and there was a question about whether he was in Dallas. Light bulbs started going off. Maybe Watergate WASN'T about dirty tricks and getting Nixon re-elected. Maybe it was a part of a cover up.I had always thought that it was a conflict of interest for a former director of the CIA (Bush, Sr) to run for President, but no one in the media ever questioned it. Wht not? Now I know I was right in my concern. This book outlines the next step in a 50 year conspiracy. All these terrible events are related. That is my firm conviction. It is no co-incidence that Bush, Jr is associated with 9/11 and Bush Sr is associated with CIA misadventures (and probably the JFK assassination) and Cheney is associated with both Bushes.Marrs does an excellent job of laying out why 9/11 was an in-house job. I'm not sure if I agree with all his conclusions about how it happened, but I agree with enough to know our gonernment is not innocent. This was a false flag. Now, how the he'll do we get our country back?

WORTH reading!
Dismaying. Enlightening. Very WORTH reading! I have been aware of the multiple and competing "conspiracy" theories out there since just shortly after 9/11. This book -- all these years later -- does a great job sorting through information, disinformation, missing information, and just plain wrong information to help see what's what.If you are immediately recoiling and dismissing "9/11 was an inside job" as a "conspiracy theory" -- let me ask you to think for a minute about the Manhattan Project or the B2 Bomber program -- or the entire creation of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington state from the sand up, where literally THOUSANDS of people worked for MONTHS on a SECRET project, and everyone kept the secret. Were THOSE conspiracy theories?! Were those folks conspiracy theorists? When a group of people all BELIEVE the same way and/or share a common goal, and they work on the project to reach that goal -- of COURSE they keep it secret, and easily! Why is it any less likely that several hundred folks who BELIEVED that a "new Pearl Harbor" was necessary to stampede the American people into unneeded wars and new expensive "security apparatus" would keep their mouths shut about it, than that many 1,000s would keep their mouths shut about building a nuclear reservation out of a sandy wasteland (Hanford)?!This book (I'm about halfway through) presents a lot of info I already knew, a lot of new info or different perspectives on questions, and is well done! Definitely worth reading!

A LOT of conjecture.
I am surprised at the number of 5-star ratings. Marrs does a lot of; "One could imagine, or , it would seem, or most would agree." He deals in extrapolation thru much of the book.I gave it three stars because his research DOES bring up some very odd things. Like, how convenient that one of the terrorist passports was found laying on the ground 2 blocks from ground zero. A paper passport could travel two blocks . Really. Odd.The other 'event', which I was unaware, was the collapse of tower 7. It suffered NO direct impact only 2 relatively minor fires. There have been far worse fires in steel framed buildings which did not collapse. There has never been a fire in a steel framed building that collapsed ...none. This has bothered me greatly. What did bother me, is that Marr puts emphasis that perhaps Shanksville and the Pentagon planes, we're not planes at all, but gave the impression of bombs as the source. He sites lack of plane debris, etc. Just two problems with that (actually more) is that there MANY eye witnesses who have come forth and described this. The other small detail to reconcile, is the pesky little thing called FUNERALS!He infers A LOT that Chaney somehow had a hand in all of this. Chaney is an evil man,( imho), but doubt very seriously he would do this to attack Iraq.Another thing that has bothered me, is when the air space was shut down, the administration allowed several jets of the Bin Laden family fly to Saudi Arabia. Strange. There is enough items in the book to make you scratch you head, but NOT enough to come to conclusion he does.

Very Thorough
Jim Marrs does a very deep dive into this work. He covers all the key phases surrounding the event; while pointing out inconsistencies to the official narrative. Especially important in the book are the Appendix and Conclusion section which is written by Barbara Honneger who is an expert on this event.Normally, I delete ebooks after I have read them. This one is a keeper and deserves a second read. Great work.

So informative and well researched
This was great book packed full of information from a wonderful author and researcher. It outlines in extensive detail the problems with the official narrative about 9/11. I cannot imagine anyone would finish this book and still be willing to accept the official narrative. The fairly recent death of Jim Marrs is such a loss to America and beyond and it's really sad that he isn't here to witness the increased questioning about 9/11and scrutiny of key players.

fantastically chilling, measured and interesting in equal measure.
after reading this book you'll be asking yourself some real questions about whats really happening in the world. If you ever had this slightest doubt about 9/11s official story - this will rock your world.Written by the same author of Crossfire - The JFK Assassination. and c'mon, who still believes the lone-gunman story.

A good read which makes me wonder more than I already did. The proof reader must have had an off day though as lots of typo errors.
