This snow globe is well done in every way. I purchased the less expensive version sold on Amazon and was unimpressed, so figured I’d give this one a try before giving up on a minimalist globe. By comparison, this snow globe has sleek, beautiful packaging, which is cool if you’re gifting it. It has a shorter base which looks less clunky. And, most importantly, the “snow” is a bit smaller and has sparkles (glitter?) in it. The sparkles are tiny and don’t overpower- it’s not gaudy, just lovely. The other, less expensive snow globe has no sparkle; it’s boring and ‘flat’.Hard to make minimalism magical, but this globe by CoolSnowGlobes does it, the cheaper version does not.
