Warm, Quality Bibs
These are perfect! Bought a pair for my husband (5'6'' / 190 pounds - 3X, 30Length) and one for myself (5'3" 127 pounds - Mens Medium, 30Length). My husband could have easily fit into a 2x and maybe maybe a 1x but his belly is VERY happy with the extra room the 3X provides while being fully dressed as it gives him a good 4-6 inches of extra room around the waist and the bib suspenders snug up nicely. Same for myself, though honestly, the medium is actually a wee bit snug but ONLY when bending low to the ground... probably the female derrière and hips... ha!Good material and quality workmanship... it's not a shiny thin nylon outer shell over the insulation but more of a mid-weight matt material that is not slick... just a good solid material that feels like it can hold up to most activities... and has so far! The bibs block the cold and chill from the massive strong winds we often encounter when out taking care of the farm animals in the winter. We are very thankful and happy with this purchase. Oh yes, just as important as blocking the cold winds... rain or snow, we remained dry. Thanks!

Perfect for the job
Perfect for the week of snowboarding. 1st time so I was on the ground alot, but these kept me warm and dry. Great product for the $. Would highly recommend. They were VERY common product/brand on the beginner slopes!

How to make sense of the sizes
OK, these arrived yesterday and even though it's not cold enough to wear them yet, I wanted to dash off a review to talk about how they fit.I am a 5'7" man and I weight around 150#. I wear 31x30 jeans and medium sized T-shirts. For these snow pants I bought Medium/ 30" inseam, short. The first medium size is to approximate a waist size, the inseam is the leg length and the "short" is the torso length. When the straps are extended fully, the torso part fits as well as I could get it to fit and I will keep these. If I had to do it over I'd get the regular rather than the short but the way these fit now isn't worth a return. The length and waist fit fine.In the short time I had them on yesterday to test their fit they seemed very warm and they're reasonably comfortable. We'll see how they perform when the snow starts falling in another month or so. I bought these specifically for use when I'm clearing the driveway and sidewalks with my snow blower. After a decent snowfall, that job takes me around two hours to complete. If these don't keep me warm and dry I will update this review.The external pockets are great and the gaiter that's built into the leg openings is a feature I wasn't quite expecting but I'm glad it's there. These things are reasonably light and their construction doesn't restrict my range of motion.All in all, these seem like a good buy and frankly, for the price I cannot imagine finding a better pair of snow bibs.
