Little Skill Seekers: Sight Words Paperback – April 1, 2019

I recently purchased this activity book for my five-year-old kindergarten son, who was facing some challenges with reading. We have tried several other books before, but this one has become his absolute favorite. Beginning with straightforward 1-2 letter words, the book incorporates coloring, sentence construction with the words, and word scrambles—making it an ideal choice for little kids. My son has even started completing the activities independently, showing a keen interest and wanting to engage with it consistently. I wholeheartedly recommend this book! This MUST be the first reading-activity book for the little kids!

This book is for my 4 year old Grandson. I have been working with him for the past 2 years with his learning skills and this is one the many books to help. The book is colorful, the exercises on the page seem easy as well as educational. He will really enjoy this!

Didn't realize how skinny the book was till it got here. Easy for my son to use.

This is great extra practice for my children in kindergarten and first grade. It is really similar to the “homework” and worksheets that they are given and do in school. It was very affordable at $3.00 and I trust the scholastic brand for educational materials. I would definitely recommend this workbook. It is independent and interactive as there are parts that you will need to explain or assist your child with, such as completing the sentence and explaining some of the directions. A lot of it my children could do on their own and figure out or guess if they didn’t know. They don’t complain about doing these workbooks and it has become part of our daily routine. These are great to have for schools breaks and summer to not fall behind and work on things that need improvement.

My kindergartener loves doing the games and activities. She has ADHD and flash cards didn't keep her attention. She's gained alot of confidence in reading.

I bought this book for my son who just finished kindergarten. He fights learning his sight words and normally loses interest in writing after a few minutes. This book is perfect for keeping his attention. There is a pattern to the pages/practice with it getting increasingly difficult as you go. The pages are brief enough that they hold his attention and also nice and colorful.

Started using it daily with my 4 year old. It's great. It's easy quick classwork. I use it as homework since his new daycare doesn't teach sight words or send homework.
