Try these!
I got these when my son was 8 months old to try to make him homemade purees and mashes. I detest store bought baby food, be it in jars, or pouches. I wanted quality control when it came to what I was feeding my son, so this was the perfect way to go.Pros: Fits a large amount that will satisfy any rumbely tummyFreezes wellReusableHas large opening which helps when fillingHas strong zip lock closure, very important!Has a see-through portion on the back so you can see how much and what's inside, also important!Cons: I personally prefer the "spout" to be on the top instead of the side. That just seems easier for my son to eat from, but its not a deal breaker for me.I bought these and the Squooshi at the same time to compare, and I definitely prefer these. The zip lock on the Squooshi is not that strong, which can be a disaster when you're squeezing puree into your child's mouth and it comes spewing out the other end all over your hands, floor, lap, what have you. It's just not fun. I like making a large batch of fresh puree or mash and freezing the majority. Then when I need it, I can defrost it over night in the fridge, or in a bowl of hot tap water. Really love how well this product works for me.

This is still a great product though and seems to have the strongest zippers ...
These are strong and very durable. I make a lot of food at one time and freeze them, pulling them out as needed. I must say though that I am not a fan of the side spout, and find I always reach for the reusable pouches that have the spout on top. My two kids can't seem to really figure out fully emptying these pouches with the side spout. This is still a great product though and seems to have the strongest zippers of any of the other reusable brands I've used (among three brands). I'll keep using these, but they're not my favorite. I do love that if you lose the caps (which is bound to happen) you can use a cap from any of the commercial squeeze pack brands. Hooray for consistency!

The good, the bad, and the ugly
So I have tried several brands, and this one has its pros and cons. The good:Lots of good about this product:1. Love the size - my 7 year old loves his applesauce, and this makes it so I don't have to fill 2 pouches.2. I was a little leery about cleaning, since it has the mouthpiece on the side and the way the top curls (see the bad), I wasn't sure if it would get clean in the dishwasher - it has.3. I like the window on the side.4. Seal on the top is good for the fridge - inevitably, all the products I have used had had a little occasional leaking. These prevent it from being all over my fridge (it just ends up in the lunchbox, which is easier to clean).5. Obviously, it's reusable, so I am happy about environmental impact. The bad:The top curls in, so it is hard to tell if it is complete sealed (see the ugly). The ugly:Unfortunately, I'm only giving this 3 stars because the seal on it is SOOOO difficult to do, my fingers repetitively hurt after filling my son's applesauce or other blend for the week from trying to get the pouches to seal. I try to be careful not to get applesauce in the grooves, and have, as I stated, used other brands, and these are the worst/most difficult sealants of any I have used. Sometimes it feels like it is sealing (and you can't tell it isn't sealed because of the way the top curls in), then you go to grab it and discover no, it wasn't sealed, leading to cleaning the applesauce out of the grooves. Please, please find a way to fix this (ziplock figured it out a long time ago), then I would totally buy more of these pouches.

Disappointing.
Up until Recently, I was really pleased with these pouches! Easy to clean both in the sink and in the dishwasher, portable, bright colored. My sons love them, even though I thought the side spout would be awkward, and they fit my generic squeeze pouch machine. The ziplock top also makes it easy to fill with slightly chunkier fillings. The down side: mold.It seems that out of my three uses/washes, moisture has found a way behind the zipper. Despite cleaning it repeatedly, (by hand and in the dishwasher), drying it thoroughly and even using a tooth pick as a method to remove the mold/water, I cannot get it clean. This is a huge bummer, considering they're "pricy" compared to disposable ones- but, I figured the investment (and environmental benefit) was worth it. However, after 3 uses they have already rendered themselves useless. I'm very disappointed.

at first they were great. But as time and uses went on
I've been using these for a while now, at first they were great. But as time and uses went on, they lost their ability to close all the way, so they eventually leak. I would say these bags are good for 5 uses and then they don't close well again.

LO loves it, and so do we.
Bathtime yogurt. As my LO has gotten older, 10 months now, we have changed his routine. He now gets yogurt in the bathtub. Not sure how that started. I buy whole milk yogurt, and put some in a bowl, mix in some rice cereal, and my husband usually feeds it to him in the bathtub. Recently, we switched places. My back was killing me. I found these online. I prepare them, seal them, and give them to hubby to assist my LO in the bathtub. The seal is a little hard sometimes, but it works well. I feel like if it is hard to seal then it makes it all that much harder to unseal. They can suck it right out. They are a little big for our current usage, but later I may be thrilled about the huge size. They are great, and my LO is already familiar with the pouches so he knows how to suck them down. Only a few washes so far. I will update at a later time.
