Fun and easily replayable
I played this with my 9 and 11 year old children. You can tell a game is a hit when just reading the rules gets them to grin. They both knew the game had some depth to it as we went through the rules. I play a lot of games and what I am particularly interested in is balance, replayability, and the skill to luck ratio. This game is meant for kids, but it has the intrigue of higher level games.I love the trouble hunters run in to if they roll too many mummies. Players are constantly weighing risk and reward when it comes to rolls and pursuing treasure.I am also a fan of the game board set up. It reminds me of Captain Sonar a little. Great game.Cons: I wouldn't let little children play this game by themselves because the magnets are very tiny and would easily be lost by little ones, rendering the game impossible to play. So I wish they would have made the magnets and board either bigger or simply make every magnet a large piece like the mummy is.

Great game but tiny pieces
My family loves this game. My 4 year old is always asking for one of the Brain Game’s penguin games. Ice Cool was great but this game dives under the school to find The Pyramid of the Pengqueen. This game uses magnets to move around the board. You are trying to collect your treasure before the pengqueen catches you. It’s a fun twist on the classic cat and mouse games. The only problem I have with the game is the extremely small pieces you move around the board. The components are designed the way they are because of the gimmick of the game. The pies flip onto the pengqueen when she catches you. It is just annoying with my large fingers. But put all that a side, it is a great game fore the whole family.

Fun, light, family game
Pyramid of Pengqueen is a light, fun, family game of hidden movement. Up to four penguin explorers move their markers around a vertical magnetic board, while one Pengquuen player on the other side of the board, tried to capture the explorers, who are trying to collect her treasures. The game involves a clever magnetic movement mechanism, and the rules are quite easy to learn. If you have played the Scotland Yard board game, this will be familiar to you. The only negative thing for me was the small size of the magnetic penguin markers. Otherwise, a great filler game, that is almost as popular with adult players as with kids.

11 year old daughter and friends LOVE this game!
This game is one of the new favorites in our household game rotation. My daughter loves it so much that she had introduced friends to it and they always have a blast. It is a fast-paced and sometimes edge-of-your seat intense where even my husband and I have to try to "fake" moves to throw the "mummy" off the scent. We love our games and play ones like 7 Wonders, Azul, Jaipur, Carcassonne, Machi Koro, and Takenoko on the regular, and now the Pyramid of Pengqueen, on the regular. Highly recommend! :-)

A hit with my kiddos
Suitable for children and children with adults... this game is another packaging marvel from the publisher that brought you Ice Cool and Ice Cool 2. A breeze to set up and tear down, super simple to learn, with rules that are memorable and fun. I recommend 3 or 4 players, and a fair dose of good sportsmanship if available. One pro-tip - as a penguin, learn to move your arms and eyes to throw off the mummy during your turn. Would recommend to basically anybody.

Quality control
Main board came delaminated (bubble/separation) from internal metal sheet making the magnetic pieces lose connectivity. Swapping out the pengqueen magnet with a stronger one.

A game for the family that is very unique
Great game where one side of the board is magnetic treasure hunters and the other side is the mummy. The treasure hunters can see where the mummy is but the mummy can't see where the treasure hunters are. If the mummy catches a treasure hunter, the magnet clicks on top of them and the mummy gets a point. It was very well done and fun!

Nephew loved it; great price
Children’s toys are always overpriced, but it’s always worth it whenever they love the product. My nephew did not get tired of this I am easily, as he typically does. In my opinion, it was money well spent and a bargain compared to brick and mortar retailers.
