There are 3 bags of (1 pound) mix. Each bag is 1 pound and you get 3 bags. Ordering this item would get you 3 pounds of mix divided into 3 bags.

Ignore Janet Phillips' comment - yes, this is what is used to water glass eggs. One ounce of the powdered lime to one quart of water.

Q: How long does this pickling like last? Does it expire?

I am sure there is an expiration date on it. I wish it was published with the add. It should be good for a while but I ordered something else and the expiration date was coming up and I ended ip having to throw it away.
