I bought this after I started dying my hair red. Mind you, I do see a professional hair stylist to color my hair. The main color is black but I’m a natural blonde with red undertones. Meaning my hair pulls red and that’s why my stylist and I believe my hair holds red so well. Well, about a year ago, we decided “eff it” and did a balayage. We bleached and only lifted about two levels. The hair pulled red. Which again, I’m blessed with. She put red on my hair and mixes two colors together (idk what they are). As we all know, red fades. So that’s when I found this. I use it every other wash. I’ve also trained my hair to only wash once a week so it stays in longer. This stuff is amazing. It holds very well with the vibe we are going for.It’s subtle until I step in the sun, which is what I’m going for! 10/10 recommend. Needing another bottle finally, so I’ll be ordering again!Disclaimer - your hands and bath tub will be RED afterwards. I have yet to use gloves while putting this on because I always forget to grab them before the shower. I do recommend using gloves if you don’t want the red on your hands. The dye will come right out of the tub if you clean it right away.

I never write reviews but this brand of color depositing shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING!!! So much better than any of the other brands I've tried. Definitely more money than I would like to spend but absolutely worth it!!!!

I have naturally red tones in my hair so every color I tried to dye it came out some level of red... blond went strawberry blonde, brown went auburn, ect. Anyway my colorist friend said lets go ruby red since it wants to be red. I was leary because I'm awful with upkeep and reds fade fast ( especially vibrant) I never go get it done as often as I should and only take hot hot showers. Also, I have really thick straight hair that's almost down to my waist so that's some $$$$ for all over dye. She directed toward this product. It's been a year now and I've had no fading. I only ever have to do my roots for new growth. I get compliments all the time on my hair and I put like no effort into it. I use biologe color treated shampoo, then use this and leave it while I wash my body and all that. It does dry my hair out it smells great but not great conditioning. I then massage in biolage color treated conditioner right with this product and leave it all sit for about 2 more minutes, then rinse. I finish after with phase 10 with keratin leave in spray conditioner. Then i leave it alone besides brushing for days. I wash it 2 or sometimes 3 x a week. Obvi routines will differ depending on hair type and how much heat tools ect you use. OH IT DOES BLEED WHEN WET! I haven't read many reviews stating that. My towels are red. IF it rains it will bleed some. I'm going on a cruise to the bahamas in a couple months so I guess I just won't use it for that month🤷‍♀️ I do love it though and it's worth every penny.

If you are looking for a very red temporary color, this is great. I usually prefer my hair to be more auburn-red and this pulls more intense red (as described as Ruby Red). I do not have highlights in my hair, but I hold on to red pretty easy. It will wash out every single wash for a few weeks. To be honest, I prefer the Glaze brand because it’s not quite as vibrant red and more of a brown red, but if what you’re looking for is vibrant, I think you’ll enjoy this. I have fine hair and have used this twice in between salon visits and still have about 1/3 of a bottle left.

This is a great way to keep up with your hair in between salon appointments. Brought the dual faded color back to a vibrant color

I have used these shampoos and conditioners for years. The ruby red is absolutely beautiful. It's great to not have to damage my hair further to maintain vivid shades. You don't have to shower in cold water. They smell so goof and your hair feels great after using
