I wanted to wait to leave a review until my son had used them for a few months. He was waking up almost every day with a stuffy nose and during the peak of allergy season, itchy red eye. I wanted to try something with better ingredients, so I gave these a try. They work really well, and my son loves the taste.

Kids have been taking this for a couple of days now, so I can’t say it helps yet. But addressing the flavor. They don’t taste like vomit. They have a tart and fruity flavor. My kids eat them just fine. They like them. Slightly bitter aftertaste but that’s to be expected, it’s a supplement. But definitely doesn’t taste rancid or anything.

This item tasted absolutely disgusting. So unfortunate because it was for our daughter. I thought she was exaggerating about the taste , but then I tasted it myself and had to spit it out. Afterwards it left my mouth feeling rough. Do not recommend this.

On really bad days(Windy, dusty, and the accumulation of doggy hairs) I take about two capsules within one to two hours so that the symptoms subside. It is really irritating to have watery eyes and non-stop runny nose while the itching in the nose doesn't stop from environmental factors. Unfortunately when I have really itchy eyes from eating shellfish, I can't depend on Histamine Shield; I have to take a major pharmaceutical allergy pill-my crutch: Allegra.On a normal environmental factor day, I will just need two every 8 hours. I have reviewed and checked the ingredients on other non-pharmaceutical pills, Histamine Shield Plus works for me the best. The ingredients are perfect for the price and the relief.It is effective during an empty stomach and a full stomach, has a slightly bitter aftertaste but I rather swallow these pills then endure the allergic reactions 24/7. If you have to take more than 6 within 8 hours, I would feel comfortable you seek a doctor's assistance and check to see what is causing your allergic symptoms.

Got this for my son who is allergic to almost everything. We had him on 3 doses of medicine daily because his breathing was impaired. We decided to try something different this year, so we got this and paired it with a couple of natural relief remedies. So far (4 months into the main allergy season) he is doing very well! We haven’t had to break out the medications yet and he is mostly sniffle-free. He also sleeps well after years of struggle. This product has brought his symptoms to a manageable level.

I just ordered my second bottle! I've had sinus and congestion issues as long as I can remember. I wanted a natural anti-histamine product for my allergies and sinus problems. My personal experience with not fully completing the loading dose for the full 7 days allowed for a little breakthrough sinus congestion. I am on the second bottle of histamine shield plus and it works if you follow the directions for the loading and maintenance dosing.Histamine Shield Plus is a great generic alternative to Ortho Molecular Products Natural D-Hist at an affordable price, especially if you are a prime member. Only negative is I will be taking this product year round and I've not seen histamine shield plus as subscribe and save on amazon or a subscription basis on their website for an additional discount.

Kids are not a fan of the flavor. Love the ingredients but can’t get my kids to take them.
