Quality on a budget price again
Fits perfect in a 2002 Silverado 6.0 Gas 2500HD 4X4 Extra Cab dimensions of filter are the same as a Fram 8755A this is my 3rd Spectre filter in 6 years with a 6 1/2 year old filter still as good as new. Don't waste you money on a more expensive brand. Will buy again and recommend to others as well.

Significant improvement at higher speeds.
This is a great quality air filter comparable to k&n for sure. for some reason it is super cheap on amazon compared to other sites and parts stores so buy it here. It installed easily on my 2005 silverado with the 5.3L engine, I thought it fit perfectly. Noticed a small increase in throttle response on the low end when accelerating but I seen huge improvements at highway speeds for sure. At higher speeds the truck held its speed a lot easier up hills and inclines than with the stock filter. I didn't see any improvements on fuel economy though. Definitely worth the money though.

2014 silverado 5.3
I installed this into my 2014 silverado 5.3.. I read a lot of reviews about how it didn't fit etc.. but I said screw it I'm not going to pay 50 bucks for a kn filter when later I'm probably going to upgrade to a true cold air intake later so I took the plunge and so far it fit perfect no gaps as you can see in the pic the other people probably didn't know what they were doing. But I didnt notice it was a lot noise and crisper throttle when I floor it. Will update later and see if mpg increase so far no complaints

This WILL NOT FIT a 2019 Chev/GMC 5.3L
Heres what the product description says: Spectre Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Washable, Replacement Filter: Fits 1999-2020 CADILLAC/CHEVROLET/GMC (Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe, Silverado, Avalanche, Yukon, Sierra) SPE-HPR8755.Product itself is fine but it won't fit the later 5.3L. This product is pretty much a square shape while the later 5.3 require the same size w/a bevel on one corner.

Great quality filter, easily comparable to the more expensive brands.
I purchased this filter instead of spending more for a K & N to try to save a few bucks. I must say that I have been very pleased and a bit surprised. I run a K&N drop in filter in my truck, and put the Spectre in my wife's Tahoe with the same engine, etc. The Spectre filter actually seems to out perform the K&N, at least in increased fuel economy. Both vehicles have the same exhaust as well. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a performance filter replacement for a little extra power and fuel economy!

AS good or better than K&N....and Cheaper
Well made, perfect fit-tight . Why spend 2 or 3x as much for a K&N....Specter makes really good quality "stuff" at a fraction of the cost of the other brands. Don't pay more just because of a Name. I have a Specter "cold air" kit on another truck of mine and it is the same as the other big names for 1/4 of the price. Good Stuff!

Damaged MAF Sensor due to excessive oil on filter. Spectre Unresponsive
Purchased this filter a few months ago and installation was breeze in my low mileage 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. I remember saying to myself the filter seemed to have much more oil on it than the KN's I have used in the past, but didn't think it would have an impact beyond some greasy hands from install. Anyway went in and immediately ran fine. Fast forward 3 months and my check engine light comes on and truck is studdering badly. Dealer takes a look, failed MAF sensor due to the oil from the filter coating the sensor. Not a warranty item due to the damage caused by an aftermarket part. $570 later I am back up an running. Email spectre asking for assistance and provided all the documentation from the dealer and also kept the filter and failed sensor if they would like to investigate. Now a week later with no response, I feel I am out almost $600 between the filter I won't use and the repairs and no sign of support from the company the dealer says is responsible.
