I was having issues for many months with frequent and rather severe yeast infections (I've had them many times before, but these were EXTRA itchy and more painful) and had tried a variety of other treatments and remedies. They all helped, but then the infection would never fully seem to clear and just come right back after my period. Even a prescription treatment did not bring me permanent relief. I was uncomfortable all of the time.I tried this boric acid rather skeptically, but the reviews made me wonder if it worked for all of them, if it would possibly work for me. Nothing else had fully helped, so I was rather skeptical that it could do much good. I was thinking I needed more testing done to see if my hormones were perhaps wonky or something. However, I was willing to try anything, given that I was still so uncomfortable and another appointment wasn't for a good 2 weeks.I read in the reviews that even people with very sensitive bodies were fine with this. That was my main concern, I can't use most soaps, conditioners, shampoos, laundry soap, etc. due to how sensitive I am.I was not having severe symptoms at this point, but I was very uncomfortable even after another OTC treatment had knocked out the yeast infection, this was 10 days post treatment so I should have felt better.I used the boric acid as recommended on the bottle and immediately, much to my surprise, I immediately I felt better. I was no longer slightly itchy/burning and the dull stabbing immediately went away. I still felt a little "raw", slightly uncomfortable, but much better than I had felt, and by the next morning I was right as rain. I stopped using it for a day to see if it was just a coincidence, and started to feel a dull itch return. So, then I was convinced, and I continued the boric acid as recommended on the bottle, and I feel completely better now. I've stayed feeling better, even after I stopped using it, as recommended. I didn't have any bad reactions to it, either.I'm going to try using the boric acid right after my period, as it recommends, and I imagine it's going to prevent a re-occurrence of yeast infection. I am rather convinced now. I will absolutely update this if it doesn't work. If it does, I might remember to update with a confirmation. If it's been more than a few weeks after this post and I didn't write "darn it, it didn't work after all!" then anyone reading can just assume that it continued to work.

I had been suffering with recurring infections for months. I tried everything - only cotton underwear, no tight clothing, bathing suits or going to the pool, extreme diet restrictions, probiotics, etc., and nothing would work. Even after prescribed treatments, sure enough a week later it would come back. I finally tried this product in hopes of managing the recurrent infections and it took some trial and error.What finally worked for me was first to treat the current infection with a 3-day monistat, follow with boric acid for 7 days and then maintain with boric acid 2 days a week (ex. Sunday & Wednesday). I’ve been doing 2 days a week for 3 months now and I haven’t had another infection ever since! There has been a week or 2 I only did one suppository but I try to stay consistent and this has been the only thing that has kept the infection from coming back! I plan on asking my Gyno how much longer I can use this product for maintenance. I am not sure whether I will get another infection if I stop but for now I’ll continue.Some reviews mention a lot of discharge as a side effect but that hasn’t been my experience. Sometimes the day after I use one I’ll have a slightly bit more than normal but nothing significant. I have not experienced any irritation using this product and I feel like it dissolves completely. Everyone’s body is different but I hope this review can help someone seeking relief!

Being over 40 years old I noticed my ph level gets thrown off more easily and the boric acid suppositories have helped immensely.I use them once a week and I do check my ph if I need to I will increase dosage as needed. Was using a different more expensive product for almost a year and they discontinued so I tried this product and was pleasantly surprised that for less money I got a better product.This product doesn’t get grainy.....it absorbs better and is vegan which I love.I recommend this product to anyone with ph issues due to aging or anyone with chronic BV or PID. It’s helps immensely with all. It’s also a good alternative to douching after your period just use one every other day after the end of your cycle.

After having recurring infections, this stuff has saved my sanity. I feel like ME again. It definitely does what it says. Balances the Ph and with no side effects. No gritty or sandy feeling like with other products of this nature. I absolutely love it. i felt an irritation coming on, i used a capsule and it all disappeared. No irritation, no itching, nada. The shipping was quick, of course, and this product is a fair price. I was using another brand called Queen V from Walmart and you only get 14 capsules for $10, as opposed to this product, in which you get a 30 ct. of capsules for the same price. This product works so I would recommend.

I believe these are the truth. I was struggling with a 9 month yeast infection. Went to the doctor several times. All they could do was prescribe a prophylactic of Diflucan which did nothing for me. I started doing a lot of research and speaking with women about my situation. Most were shocked that the yeast infection had lasted so long despite using OTC medication as well as prescribed. Save yourself the time and money ladies! My own friend gave me some homemade boric acid pills. She said she went to a Chinese doctor and he showed her how to make them. I, am not that crafty so I came to amazon. Found these and along with dietary changes (I completely removed sugar including tomatoes from my diet and then reintroduced slowly once I was healed) and some other items I cured the infection in about a month. I now keep these on hand at all times if I feel off or have odor. But no more infections!! Great product!!!
