Great clippers
Very happy with these clippers. Not a lot of tension on handle, and sharp, efficient blade, so low effort needed. The distance between the lever and body is larger than my old cheap set. 2.25" from back side of body to tip of lever. Someone with smaller hands should be aware.I was surprised by the file imbedded in the back side of the lever. Nice feature, and useful, though it's recessed, so not able to use it for every need.

Incredible value... the best I've ever tried.
Prior to trying these Green Ball clippers out, I owned the Klhip Ultimate Clipper, which is also Japanese-made. I've owned the Klhip since around 2011 and they have not dulled down... I had a friend recommend these Green Ball clippers to me after he saw I had the Klhips, and heard how much they cost. So, I bit the bullet and spent a whole $13 on the Green Ball G-1205 and, I must say, even though I'd owned the Klhips for so long, the Green Ball clipper is INSANELY sharp. They must be 10x sharper than the Klhips... I just can't believe the quality of these for such a low price. I'm not a shill, I was not paid to make this review, the clippers speak for themselves.I should also note, these are large... I did use this set to cut both my toe and finger nails and they worked great for both! With that said, I know many people here in the US are used to using a separate clipper for their toe nails. There IS a smaller model in this same form factor; the model G-1204. I wasn't able to find it on Amazon, so I bought a set on eBay and we'll see how those perform. Also, after doing some research, I've found that these ARE the replacement to the infamous G-1008 model, with a similar form-factor and some basic upgrades (primarily aesthetic). If you're on the fence, there's no need. This is the way to go. They're beyond razor sharp and make clipping your nails a breeze. They also have a super high-quality diamond file on the back-side of the handle. Hopefully these hold a good edge and last.

Hands-down the best nail trimmers I have ever used in 50 years!!!
Tried Revlon and other beauty brands, TRIM and a ton of other random brands of trimmers and they all fell short. Whether it was a poor cut that left a jagged edge, or just plain struggled to cut thicker nails, the products never felt satisfying. These are the best trimmers I have ever used. The craftsmanship, grip design, and cut are superb. I didn't need to file after and they cut cleanly with very little effort. It bugs me how much money I wasted on cheap Chinese clippers.

Sharp as all get out!
I admit it. I was skeptical. Twenty bucks for a pair of nail clippers? But, I’ve purchased lots of other clippers that were just simply OK. My big toenails are thick and hard to clip, and would frequently crack with cheap clippers. I read quite a few favorable reviews on these, so I thought I’d give them a try. Man, oh man are these things sharp! Almost to the point that a person would want to be careful that they weren’t engaging any skin, because these things will slice right through your toe. But they work great. This particular model has a wider blade that has a less dramatic curve to it, so it works especially well on bigger nails. They can make a much flatter curve than many other clippers. The steel is exceptionally high quality. I would say professional grade. These are hands-down the best nail clippers I have ever owned… by a wide margin! If you have been disappointed with the clippers that you can buy in the local stores, you won’t be with these.

Got one bad pair out of three
So I have three pairs of these, because they are excellent clippers. Unfortunately, the latest pair I purchased had som e quality issues which I didn't notice until after the return period was past. On this pair, a hangnail is produced on one side of the clippers if you clip directly in the middle or to that side of the blades. It's a very slight hangnail, but when feeling the nail or running your nail over cloth material, it is very obvious. Also, if you turn these over and clip with them, it leaves a noticeable ragged edge. It looks like the blades overlap just a bit on this pair which I think is the problem. These were my office pair so I didn't use them right away. Bummer. A nail file cleans up my nail edge well enough but I like these because my other pairs were a beautiful clean cut. So only four stars since my others are so nice and it's my fault for not noticing the issue soon enough to exchange them. I would still buy this brand.

Excellent nail clipper
This is the sharpest easy-to-use nail clipper. It is so sharp you barely need to file afterward, if at all. Easy to handle with included file. Very good value.
