I have tried many weight loss plans and nothing worked. I was apprehensive but thought well i trust amazon reviews so why not. Actually to my surprise I lost half a stone in the first few days. I found it really easy to follow, hardly felt hungry and sorted out my sugar cravings. Before this I ate sweet things all day and cereal. The only thing is now, how do I continue to lose weight ? It doesn't tell you what to do when you finish the plan. But great and easy kick-start to healthy eating and weightlose.

I’ve been looking for quick weight loss plans everywhere, tried the thermo burn tablets but nothing. I was a little dubious about this product as I am with most but I take it back!!! I started this at 11stone 5lb and ended on 10.5 - lost a stone!! I’m injured at the moment and have an active job so whilst I’m fairly inactive I thought there is no better time to try it! I’ll be honest, had the odd bag of crisps here and there, some sweets, nuts, a chocolate bar now and then. Even managed a large full English breakfast and still managed to lose a stone. I do wonder what I would have lost not having the snacks and greasy spoon meal! Exercise wise, first two days I hobbled around on crutches. Day 3-9 I did upper body weights one day and swimming the next. It’s easy once you get into it and I was seeing results straight after day 1! Definitely do it!

I have used similar products to kick start a new year detox in the past and I found this easy to get straight in to. The instructions are short and sweet rather than reams of advice on exercise and recipes etc that you can get elsewhere. At first I though the chocolate milk drink might be horrid because you mix it with water and not milk (you probably can mix with milk) but it makes the calories lower at 117 and is nice enough (although not quite McDonalds Milkshake lol and hence using this ;). The cost is great as well at almost half the price of other products sold through pyramid schemes. I'm 5 days in a 5 lbs lost in weight so far and feeling a lot better than I did after Christmas and planning to start the 30 day follow-on. The only thing I would say is that the shaker isn't great. The practical issue is there is no measure on the flask (and actually i would add 330ml+ of water). The screw on sections don't lock that well so I wouldn't be confident of putting the powder in there in case it falls apart, however the flask itself seems to mix the drink well enough so just use it for that and a tea strainer to avoid any bits (although don't seem to get any anyway, so just a backup). From a design point of view the black flask doesn't look very nice either. It's quite a harsh look and not very fitting with the sustainability message because it's not as recyclable as clear plastic as everyone keeps telling us!. I would rather they charged a bit more and provided something i would use again. Otherwise would be 5 star.

The frumpy feeling got too much so i took to Amazon to find a quick and simple detox, thats when i found Smug. Some great reviews already (and at a fraction of the price of other similar detoxs) so thought i'd give it a go and thank god i did! The delivery arrived, it was well presented in a sturdy box, instructions easy to follow, capsules in order of use and a proper 'shake' bottle. I followed the step by step guide from day one, quite a headache in the evening of the first day but others had reported this and i had also had a long day at work. I struggle to drink plain water so opted for no added sugar flavoured water which worked wonders. By day 2 i was already feeling a difference and as the days went on it got better, my sleeping improved, no bloating, no more headaches and having a proper evening meal was great. By day 9 i was feeling great and had lost 7 1/2 pounds so completely over the moon. It was the kick start i needed to start getting back into shape and i havent looked back since. Would highly recommend

I was very excited to receive my order and finally get into the headspace to kickstart my weight loss. I stuck to the instructions to the letter. I had a constant headache from day two to day four but still persisted, by day 5 I hadn’t lost an inch from anywhere but had lost 1 pound. Not to be discouraged I continued. Tomorrow is day 9. In total I have lost 1 pound and no inches from anywhere. Very disappointing, don’t waste your money or time on this stuff.

I did lose some weight but who wouldn’t lose weight if you’re eating one 600 cal meal a day! The main reason for wanting to do it was because I really wanted to feel less bloated but instead it made me constipated. It’s good value for money but I think it’s lacking in information which is a bit lazy on the manufacturer’s part. The ‘manual’ is literally a sheet of A5. I would have liked to have known what each vitamin was for and how to take it. For example if you don’t drink all 250ml of the water in one go at the time of taking the husk fibre it binds you up. I didn’t know this until I Googled it. On the plus side the protein shake is REALLY nice and I like the idea of knowing what to eat or drink and when. Some meal recommendations would have been nice too.

I lost 10.2Lb in the 9 days and felt a lot better so it does what it says on the tin and I have bought it twice again since. Only thing I think needs to be looked at is the volume of chocolate shake you get. I have bought strawberry twice and both times had a little left over at the end. I bought the chocolate and followed the exact same process but ran out with 2 days to go. Though they are both 500g bags I can only assume the chocolate powder weighs more, so you get less volume though the same weight. I think the chocolate needs to be a 650/700g bag. If it cost a couple of quid more so be it but you need enough shake to complete the 9 days. Other than this I would defo recommend. 10.2 lb in 9 days ! 😀

Unless you want to loose 3-4 kg in few days before a big event don't bother, detox didn't work at all, lost lot of weight but didn't feel better or energised at all.
