As usual, Kreyszig's didactic talent is at work here, via leaving little room for desperately outguessing the unsaid, contrary to the majority of authors who excel at writing indigestible books...This is the ideal book for self-teaching Functional Analysis and you can also couple it to either of the following video series :- UCCS , given by Greg Morrow who uses Kreyszig's book.- DTUdk, given by Ole Christensens who uses his own book.

I recommend this book.I especially like the way he treats the themes ofBanach spaces and Hilbert spaces.It is a good book to start studying functional analysis

A useful book to help with learning Topology and continues to Functional Analysis which is useful for a mathematics student! Have used this book quite often since buying it as it is easy to follow and understand.

Kindle edition is a complete mess. The content is present but its impossible to read. Check it out using the preview on the website or download a sample. WIll be looking for a proper paper copy of this.
