Q: Constantly get close door reminder "The door did not close in the expected amount of time" How to fix that?

I turned off close notifications- which is not a great solution- smartlife app appears to show door closed - hoping for better solution

Q: Will this work with LiftMaster model 3280M?

If that opener uses a HARD WIRED wall switch with two wires to the opener... it will work.

Q: When closing, the app shows that it closed 1/2 way then opened back up then closed again when the actual garage is closed, why? & alarm doesn’t work?

please double check the position of the two magnetic sensors. Please make sure when the door is closed, the two sensors are as close as possible to each other, even get touched.

Q: Does this unit respond or show as ope and closed or on and off with Alexa/google etc?

The voice command to alexa or google should be "Turn on/ turn off", not "open/close".
