This is a very well designed figure, no problem standing it on a smooth, level surface and once placed it is very stable.Unlike a lot of PAPO figures, this has been sculpted full of movement and life.As another reviewer writes, the axe is moulded separately. It is a tight fit but can easily be twisted and moved through the hands. I haven't tried removing it.Painting is OK although the facial features are not so distinctive as on the web page photo.The figure I received is a mirror image of the one shown, i.e. sword is worn on left hand hip and axe is being swung from right to left.I'm really pleased I bought it.I recommend it as a birthday gift or stocking filler for a boy of any age ;).

I almost bought some that were twice the price before I stumbled across these. I would say they are on a par with the expensive ones and the price is much more palatable. I suspect I appreciate the quality far more than my Grandson will, but I know he will love them. Most impressed!

These knights are nice, although if you've had Schleich knights previously (which we have), then you will be disappointed with the quality as they aren't in the same league. Sadly Schleich do not make their knights anymore so these will have to do for some extra warriors in our toy box, but I don't think they will last as long.
