Despite reading the reviews, I ordered the masala. I received a packet made in July 2020 itself. Opened the packet and the taste and flavor was lovely. Used it in making korma and Biryani. It definitely increased the flavor. Hopefully the company will be able to maintain its quality ahead also. Will definitely write the review about the other products which I have bought

Awesome earthly flavor

I expected a wonderful aroma. I didn't get. The recipe recommended this but also had said I could use garam masala as a substitute. I have great garam masala, looks like I should have used that, instead of paying extra shipping and waiting for this.

I made kebabs few days ago using my own masala which containted almost all the ingredients mentioned on this masala pack. They came out quite well. This time when i found this masala i thought it will save me a lot of time. So i made kebabs using same recipe and just replaced my own masalas with this one. Although its quite expensive one still i thought if it actually contains all the ingredients mentioned on the pack, its worth it. However to my utter dissapointment it had no taste whatsoever. If i had made the kebabs using my own half the number of ingredients, it would have come out much better. Even worst, this masala company is from lucknow, the land of kebabs and biryani and my birth place, its degrading lucknow's reputation or may be using it just to gain popularity. All in all nothing positive to write about. Those who dont know much about potli masala please dont blame potli masala in general as potli masala is a next level thing and is not everyone's cup of tea to make.
