Great TRS MIDI Cable
I needed this cable to connect my M-VAVE Chocolate foot controller to my Behringer UMC404HD audio interface's MIDI IN port. I didn't want to use bluetooth, and this cable was the perfect solution, once I placed a STEREO TRS adapter onto the cable. Initially, the adapter to 1/4" I was using was a mono adapter, and the cable wasn't working. I dug through my adapter box and found a TRS adapter and everything started working the way it should have with the foot controller sending MIDI to my interface and then into my DAW. Couldn't be happier with this cable and it works well.

Great cable - Works for Roland SP 404 mk2
I bought this cable because it was recommended as a cable that will work with the Roland SP 404 mk2. I used it to hook up my Akai MPK Mini PLUS and/or Roland GAIA to the 404 mk2. The cable is a nice length at 5 feet and it feels like a quality product, meaning, not cheap. I'm sure it will work with other devices that have the 3.5mm midi ports on them, but I can confirm it works with the SP 404 mk2. I give it 5 stars for doing its job and doing it well!

Type-A TRS to MIDI works for my Novation controller to synths!
Well described and does what it's supposed to. Cable is long enough, feels robust, and most importantly will connect a Novation Launchkey Mini to mini & micro synths to be able to play them live.

False advertisement, this is a type B cord
I did some OHM testing with a multimeter and here’s what I found, readings: DIN Pin 5 is connected to the 3.5 mm TRS ring. DIN Pin 4 is connected to the 3.5 mm TRS tip. DIN Pin 2 is connected to the 3.5 mm TRS sleeve (ground). I threw away the packaging and can’t return it. I’ll try a 3.5mm TRS A/B adapter to see if my MIDI controller will accept receiving the signal on these DIN pins. Otherwise this cord is false advertised! My MIDI out device is Type A and I needed an industry standard Type A cord, this isn’t it. Waste of money and more importantly waste of my time.

Works as advertised but pricey.
Works as it should. This item is pricey but unable to find a substitute due to wiring type. Wish they had a longer one but made this work on my Boss RC-500.
