Great safety clip. This little clip attaches to the dogs collar and to the harness and works well to keep my puppy safe, if she pulls out of her harness it will still be attached to her collar.

My dog is a mini schnoodle and weighs probably around 25 lbs, so he isn't very big nor super strong. This is a plastic clasp that hooks onto the harness and collar, so I don't know if it would be strong enough for a large dog like a a pit bull or a German Shepherd, but this works really well for my dog. Winston was backing out of his harness and running loose, so when I found this connector, I was very happy. This clasp hooks the harness to his collar making it much more difficult for him to get loose. I do recommend this item; it's well made and very sturdy. There are other connectors like this one made out of metal, but I really didn't think we'd need it. This clasp has great reviews and didn't cost very much. Winston's dog trainer was very impressed by this clasp too.

I love these. I use them when my dogs are wearing both a prong collar and a regular collar. I attach the leash to the prong collar and one end of the collar backup clip. The other end of the collar backup clip attaches to the regular collar. If for some reason either one of the collars comes open, the leash is still attached to the other collar. You'd be surprised at how many times I've had collars come open so it's great for safety and peace of mind.

What a wonderful item to further protect my dog from getting loose on a walk. I have a 100lb very young dog. And while mostly trained sometimes he wants to pull when he sees really small dogs and deer. I have him on a gentle lead and love that I can clip this onto the base of the leash and his regular collar as well. If he slips the gentle lead I can still keep him from taking off. My only issue with this is I had him out front on a 30ft lead and the other end on a post. He isn't used to being on a lead in our yard so he decided to get the "zoomies" and it happend so fast. He hit the end of that lead and the plastic adjustment part snapped. But 100lb of pup hitting the end of that lead and hard! I can see how that small plastic piece would not hold up. Well I like the product still for the use of our daily walks. So I bought another. I just wish that small part would be made of some kind of metal. But all in all a great product.

This product has honestly reduced my stress by at least 60%. Our puppy has a tendency to get excited and lunge towards things and has slipped multiple harnesses with her Houdini like power. This little device has kept her from escaping us by slipping her harness.It’s not “pretty” per se, but honestly I don’t care about its appearance. Both ends feature clips so you can attach it to your dogs collar and their harness to give you 2 points of connections. Very easy to use, not too heavy, durable, and adjustable so one size fits all. Overall, helpful and great product!

This works perfectly. I have purchased twice one for both dogs. When my dog shakes her leash occasionally comes undone. And this attaches so as a back up so we don’t have a wild and free dog.
