Will this kill wasp and bees?

No, I've found that it is barely able to kill flies. Most the time it just knocks them out of the air, and you have to shoot them about 3-5 times in order to actually kill them. I have tried it with horse flies and it cannot kill them no matter how many times I shoot them. I wouldn't try it with wasps. I shot a wasp once with it, and it didn't even affect it, it just kept flying and I had to retreat.

does this model come with the laser beam?

No. You have to buy your own laser. Always.

The description says it may splatter flies. why? is this firing salt at a higher velocity than a standard bug-a-salt 2.0?

I'm not sure if there's a problem with your 2.0 gun, but I have two of them and both will absolutely splatter flies from as far away as 1 foot on a regular basis. It makes sense to me then this should as well.

How much salt does this shoot? Will I be forever sweeping?

Enough to be effective but no you won't be sweeping
