It may help you to understand that this is a "soft plastic" model similar to the soft plastic that Marx 54mm (or, 1/32 scale) and similar plastic army men are made out of, as opposed to the hard plastic of a typical plastic model kit. Point being, this is not a model kit you must assemble, it is ready to go out of the box.

This is constructed exactly like the tanks that originally came with the Marx 54mm WWII Battleground playsets; except that it is much more solid--using a high-quality plastic and, unlike the original Marx Battleground playset tanks, this tank is the perfect/correct scale for 54mm (or 1/32 scale). The measurements for the BMC Sherman tank are about 7 1/2" end-to-end, 4" tall (base of tracks to top of turret), and 3 1/2" wide. This BMC Sherman tank is also far superior to the tanks produced by CTS, which--although advertised as 54mm (1/32nd scale) are both incorrect scale (closer to 48mm or 1/40th scale) and not as solid. If you are looking for a 54mm Sherman to complement your Marx Battleground or similar collection, you will not be disappointed in this tank.

Which is more accurate size Sherman tank - BMC or Forces of Valor ?

The bmc tank goes well with my toy army men. It is essentially a plastic toy tank not a model. Never used forces of valor.
