The "off-white" (ripstop nylon) tape is 20" x 3", it's thin but it is opaque. This fabric tape is flexible, very sticky, and strong. I used this tape to repair a small hole that our cat made on the wall of our new tent, the first time we set it up to inspect it. It did the job well, and doesn't look too bad either.One thing that puzzles me about this product, is that no where on the packaging does it actually say "ripstop nylon". It is discreetly labeled as "Nylon" on the front of the package, but 'nylon' and 'ripstop nylon' are not the same thing. The product description here on Amazon is just as vague. Purchased this to repair a tent that was damaged in high winds..I followed the instructions and results looked good but when the tent was put under tension over time the repair started to move..It hasn't let go as yet but it is not as good a repair as it first appeared..

I didn't realise this tape is semi-transparent. I was hoping I could use it to hide a hole in my son's coat and make a bit of a feature out of it. I've used it on the inside and it works reasonably well, but doesn't look very good.
