Q: Is it supported on m1 mac ?

Yeah. Main feature of these is Mukti device connectivity. I used with both win and mac and it works perfectly.

It is mainly for productivity usecase. Since the mouse is on the heavier side, it is not suited to hardcore gaming in my opinion

Q: Should i get the ordinary mx master 3s or should i get the master 3s for mac for the macos?

Well, it depends on the connectivity options that you want. With the regular 3s you have both dongle and Bluetooth connectivity options but the mac version has only the Bluetooth connectivity option. Also the charging cable for regular 3s is USB Type A - USB Type C whereas for the mac version it's Type C - Type C. Also, both the versions are compatible with mac-os.
