How long does the solution stay active after its been diluted or do you have to use it all straight away?

Hi Debbie, Neuturine is best used within 24 hours as the bacteria is looking for a food source. Dog urine is very high in Nitrogen and Nitrogen is used as a fertiliser, but the high levels cause damage as the Nitrogen breaks down into Ammonia which burns the lawn.The bacteria is all natural and specially selected as it's food source (prefered diet if you like) is Nitrogen, by eating the Nitrogen it stops it turning into Ammonia. The bacteria lies dormant in the tablet until it is dissolved in water. Ideally it needs 20-30 minutes to wake up before use, but leaving it longer is even better. How much water per tablet?

1 tablet per 9 litres of water, however grass will not repair in this cold weather. Best to use when weather warms up and grass starts to grow again

How long will it take to see any results after applying the solution and will I have to re seed the worse areas first?

It really depends on how bad the damage is on the lawn. It can take a couple of weeks for the bacteria to start neutralise the ammonia already in the soil and for the bacteria that stimulates the grass to repair. You can reseed the area if it is is really bad, but it is important to use Neutruine on these areas for a couple of weeks before you re-seed as all the ammonia in the soil will damage the seed. Also by re-establishing the soils natural biotic balance it will help the seed grow and establish quicker. Dogs like to use the same place so you need to control and reduce the Nitrogen/Ammonia so it is best to view this product as an ongoing maintenance/control rather than a spot fix.
