Can save a butt load by buying bags of Calcium Chloride (pure without added chemicals) to replace the beads that have been broken down by the moisture. Pour out the water, add the beads/flakes, replace the lid without the material or replace that as well and off you go..

Can I use them I need a kitchen food cupboard?

I believe you can use them in a cupboard as they are sealed !

Are these suitable to use in a freezer?

I have them in my boat’s freezer and they work. Also use in motor home fridge freezer and they are just fine. Hope this helps!
