This is definitely a good book to get back into math. I used to be good in math, but 15yrs out of school definitely made me forget a bunch of stuff. This book has helped me get back into having better math skills. Congrats on taking your first step in crushing whichever math test you want to ace. Good luck.

Good to keep the brain working!

I was not too fond of math as a kid. I HATED it. My childhood/teenage brain thrived on reading anything and everything I could get my hands on. I loved words. But numbers? They frustrated me. I got a 53 in my first semester of math class in high school.Weirdly, though, my brain has changed as I’ve gotten older. Doing little math problems not only helps me feel mentally sharp; it also relaxes me. I discovered this about myself a few months ago, and it was quite a shock to me, especially to my math-wizard dad, who spent many frustrated hours trying to teach me math when I was young.I can sit down with this book and start solving the problems; before I know it, an hour has passed. You can start with simple addition problems and work your way up; you can start with long division if you remember how to do long division (I did not remember).It’s a book of math problems. There are a lot of math problems. If you want to stay sharp, remember what math was like before we had phones, or relax, this book is for you.

Loved this book, finished the whole thing and would work on it in the morning at my desk at work. Just feels good to keep the mind moving. The math is very basic but more than i ever do normally! Going to buy the next book up from this just to keep it going.

These are great books for strengthening skills already learned. Not so great if you need a page of teaching first with examples. Would have been much better had they included that before each section.

Perfect workbook to review basic arithmetic from addition to division. Lots and lots of practice problems. One small thing that is important is that the problems are nicely spaced so there’s plenty of room to work out your answers.Note: This is not a textbook with explanations but just a workbook. Combining this with a textbook or YouTube videos that explain the processes is a perfect way to review basic math and get plenty of practice.

Help me brush up on my skills I was forgetting a lot of basic math.
