In my opinion these are the same chairs / style / comfort as the more expensive products, just at more than half the cost.Assembly is required and the weight has to be taken by pouring sand into the weight container and screwed into the accompanying section.So in my case with very limited knowledge and effort , this chair was a great purchase.

These chairs are great and does the job. For what I paid for them vs the other more expensive ones you can't go wrong. They were easy to put together with very little effort. Shipping was quicker than quoted as well.

This came together pretty quickly and the picture directions were easy to follow. Used 10lbs of sand and it seemed to be enough to secure it in the water. We did wait about 5 minutes after putting it in to give it time to set up, fill with water and become stable in the water /not float away. Our tanning ledge is 18” and this 15” was a perfect fit. I gave 4 *’s because the company didn’t drill out holes on the bottom. Thankfully we had a drill and were able to knock it out pretty easily. Overall we love the chair and will probably purchase a second one soon!

These are fantastic! Our sunshelf is deep and the water is around 9 inches deep and I hate sitting in the water. These sit high and are perfect

Buyer beware! The condition was listed as used like new. I received the 2 big pieces but no hardware and, according to reviews I read, there should have been a third piece. No instructions included either, but had all the pieces been there I could have worked around that. I returned it and now it says it should get there in about 14 days, take time to process and make sure all pieces were returned (oh, the irony) and then for the return to be issued. All in all I should expect to get my money back in 30 days. What a racquet! Do not fall for this too!

I had a tough time finding chairs that were the right size for sitting on a 17” platform in our pool. The shallower tanning shelf, no problem, but this depth turned out to be awkward. Fortunately I came across these and they are just the right height for sitting in the water but not feeling like you’re going to drown as every other chair I found would. You’re definitely sitting in the water in this depth but that was the intention. If you used them in a shallower depth, you could be out of the water. We have only had them for the end of one summer season but I don’t have reason to think they won’t hold up, they seem very solid. We do pull our chairs out of the pool when they are not in use to avoid calcium build up.

I didn’t want to spend 1k plus on a ledge lounger so I tried this one. Our pool shelf is 18in deep. I filled the reservoir first with rocks. Then the remaining nooks and crannies with salt/sand. Held it down in the water for 60sec and voila- sits on the ledge and doesn’t flat away. Taking away 1 star because assembly wasn’t straight forward.
